| Let the joy
of the Lord dispel all fear! |
May the God of hope
fill you
with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow
with hope
by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans
15:13 (NIV)
Each one’s life is an
adventure, full of uncertainties. Many people have because of that a
constant
deep fear hidden within them: Fear for the unknown future, for what
might
happen and what might not happen. The most basic-fear is the livelong
fear of
death and for what is coming after death. But Gods Son, Jesus Christ,
has come
to deliver us from sin and fear, even from the fear for death. He
declared with
great authority: "I am the resurrection and the life. He, who believes
in
Me will not die but have everlasting life." Because of Christ it is now
possible to live without fear. "Impossible," you say, because you
have been bound for years in a spiral of depressiveness and paralysing
fears?
May I give you an advice? You
need to enter into a new, dynamic, refreshing and empowering experience
with
the risen and glorified Saviour Jesus Christ. He sent the Holy Spirit
to take
His place with and in you. He is the living, loving, all-powerful
divine
Person, who wants to fill you with all joy and hope.
Why should you not enter into
a real relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ and open your heart for
the Holy
Spirit of God and His wonderful power. If you do this joy will be
bubbling up
from deep within you that can dispel all fear and depressive feelings.
We
cannot understand this on an intellectual or emotional level. We just
do not
know how this works. This is the power of the Holy Spirit that works
above our
understanding. Please start believing and experience the wonderful
empowering
joy of the Lord.

Moge God, die ons hoop geeft, u in het
geloof geheel
en al vervullen met vreugde en vrede in uw geloof, zodat uw hoop
overvloedig
zal zijn door de kracht van de Heilige Geest.

Het leven van iedereen is een avontuur, vol van
onzekerheden. Het is dan ook niet verwonderlijk dat veel mensen last
hebben van
een blijvende diepe angst voor de onbekende toekomst, voor wat er
misschien wel
of niet zal gebeuren. De grondangst is de levenslange angst voor de
dood en
voor wat daarna komt. Maar Gods Zoon, Jezus Christus, is gekomen om je
van
zonde en angst te bevrijden, zelfs van de angst voor de dood. Hij
verklaarde:
"Ik ben de opstanding en het leven. Die in Mij gelooft zal leven, ook
al
is hij gestorven." Dankzij Christus is het nu mogelijk zonder angst te
leven. "Onmogelijk," zeg je, omdat je al jaren gevangen bent in een
spiraal van depressiviteit en verlammende angsten.
Mag ik je een raad geven? Wat je nodig hebt is een
nieuwe, dynamische, verfrissende en bekrachtigende ervaring met de
opgestane en
verheerlijkte verlosser Jezus Christus. Jezus zond de Heilige Geest om
zijn
plaats bij en in jou in te nemen. Hij is een levende, liefhebbende en
almachtige goddelijke persoon, die ook jou wil vullen met enkel vreugde
en
hoop.
