Known bugs
There was a bug discovered in earlier versions. If you
specified 'free activity' as input type, in some cases the program may
use a wrong charge for converting free activity to free concentration.
It is hard to explain in which cases this occurred, but what I can say
is
that it never occurred for cations, only for the redox and for ligands.
If you are in doubt whether this bug affected your results, contact me
and specify your input data (please attach it) and the version of
CHEAQS you were using. Apologies for any inconvenience.
For all other cases no calculation problems are known.
For versions 2010.1 and later, this bug is corrected. Some other bugs
(considered minor) are known. Please
install, then choose 'bugs' from the help menu.
